Covering around twenty hectares, the vines are on average 25 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Vinification<br \/>\nThe grapes are harvested by hand or by machine depending on the plots.<br \/>\nThey are then vinified in a traditional way in stainless steel vats and aged in oak barrels for 14 months.<\/p>\n<p>Grapes varieties<br \/>\n53% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon<\/p>\n<p>Tasting notes<br \/>\nWith a brilliant color, Ch\u00e2teau Baret is very aromatic when stirred with notes of ripe black fruits and roasted coffee beans. The attack is voluptuous, the body structured, rich, with fine tannins. The finish is long, with notes of black cherry<\/p>\n<p>Food &amp; wine pairing<br \/>\nServed at a temperature of 17\u00b0, Ch\u00e2teau Baret will be perfect with a leg of lamb, a grilled piece of beef, or cheeses.
