Origine – terroir
Dating back to the I7fh century, Château Rabaud Promis overhangs the Ciron Valley, famous for its micro-climate typical of the Sauternes appellation. Its vineyard covers 40 hectares of vines, grown in a sustainable way by the Déjean Family.
Promesse de Rabaud Promis is the second wine of the estate, made from its youngest vines but vinified like the first wine.

Vinification
Harvesting at perfect maturity with successive picking
Fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats and in oak barrels
Ageing in french oak barrel for 12 months in a temperature controlled cellar

Grapes varieties
80% Sémillon, 20% Sauvignon

Tasting notes
Promesse de Rabaud-Promis presents a beautiful and bright golden hue.
The nose is harmonious, mingling the citrus’ freshness and candied apricot’ sweetness.
The palate offers an aromatic explosion of candied and exotic fruit.

Food & wine pairing
Promesse de Rabaud Promis will be ideal with foie gras, Chinese recipes, poultry in sauce and cheeses, such as Roquefort or Bleu d’Auvergne.
