AOC Médoc Cru Bourgeois
ORIGIN
The origins of Château Clos du Moulin go back to the 19th century. It was classified Cru Bourgeois in 1932.
The vines, with an average age of 30 years, are planted on 11 hectares which are divided into different plots.
These are characterized by an extraordinary TerroIr: gravelly soils, located directly on the banks of the Gironde, and the limestone plateaus, 2km from the Gironde, give all their strength and finesse to the berries and therefore to the wines of the property.
VINIFICATION
Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Aged in French oak barrels.
GRAPES VARIETIES
50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon
TASTING
Dense and deep color. Nose of beautiful intensity with notes of roasting and red fruits.
The palate is fruity and elegant, with good tension and ending on a long finish.

Aging potential: 6 – 8 years
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING
This wine will be tasted with a guinea fowl with porcini mushrooms, a rack of lamb with herbs or with mature cheeses.
