Owned by the Courty family for generations, Château Changrolle’s vineyard has been completely replanted after the severe frosts in the winter 1956. It now counts 15ha, acquired over the years, planted on sand and gravels.

Harvesting by machine.
Sorting on table.
Traditional winemaking with daily stirring.
Long vatting of 20 days.

80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting notes
Château Changrolle presents an intense red color with purple glints. Its bouquet offers pleasant ripe red fruit notes and floral fragrances. The palate is ample, very fruity and lingers on a spicy finish.
Food & wine pairing
Château Changrolle will accompany well a rack of lamb, a Rossini Tournedos, game in sauce, or cheeses such as Brie, Saint-Nectaire and Maroilles.
Serve around 16° and 18°C.
