Château La Croix Blanche lies in the heart of the Bergerac appellation and is owned by the same family for 3 generation.
The vines are planted on 67 hectares of gravelly clay-limestone hillsides, ideally exposed to the sun, creating the perfect setting for the berries.
The château produces well-structured, fruity wines that are best enjoyed in their youth.
Vinification
Traditional in stainless tank.
Grapes varieties
75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc
Tasting notes
Deep, dense colour.
Nose characterised by ripe fruits such as redcurrant and strawberry.The palate offers a smooth, rich attack, well-balanced and seductive mid-palate and excellent length.
Food & wine pairing
This wine makes the ideal partner for a roast capon stuffed with chestnuts, stuffed tomatoes or strong flavored cheeses such as Munster.
