Origin – terroir
Pavis des Chartrons is made from a selection of the best cuvées of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
It has characteristics close to a conventional Bordeaux, with the difference that it must follow specifications
strict and specific to the “Organic Agriculture” certification. It imposes a double principle. The management of the vineyard must be carried out in biological method: no herbicides, fertilizers and synthetic pesticides. The vinification must also be organic: 100% certified organic ingredients, limitation of oenological inputs and the level of sulphites. The result is “a reasoned wine” from agriculture that respects nature and people.

Tasting notes
Bright cherry color. Nose with intense fresh aromas of strawberries, blackberries, menthol and violets.
Expressive, supple, fruity and balanced palate, supported by silky and pleasant tannins. A gourmet and harmonious wine.
Food & wine pairing
To taste with a duck breast with red fruits, a beef steak and its small early vegetables and to finish a cheese with nuts.
