Normandy Camembert AOP JORT
Inspired by Norman tradition, Camembert de Normandie AOP (Protected Designation of Origin) JORT was born in 1888 at the Fromagerie de Bernières d’Ailly, a former mill dating from the 18th century located in the heart of Calvados in Bernières d’Ailly , on the banks of the Dives. This cheese has become a staple of French gastronomy.

Only the delicacy of traditional hand molding allows all the qualities of the curd to be preserved thanks to 5 successive passes, each spaced 50 minutes apart, in accordance with the specifications of the Camembert de Normandie AOP appellation.

JORT cheesemakers perpetuate these historic gestures and this know-how passed down with passion from generation to generation on a daily basis.

JORT Camembert de Normandie won the prestigious Gold Medal of the Concours Général Agricole at the 2015 Agricultural Show.

As with all cheeses, it is important to consume it at room temperature in order to appreciate all its nuances of flavor.
