ORIGIN- TERROIR
Chateau Haut Musset, which has been in the Rambeaud familly since 2014, is located in the commune of Montagne, 3 km from Saint Emilion and 40 km to the east of Bordeaux. The vineyards benefit from clay soils and a south-facing exposure.
VINIFICATION
20-25 days’ maceration in temperature-controlled vats. 12 to 24 months’ ageing in French oak barrels.
GRAPE VARIETIES
Merlot 85%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%, Cabernet Franc 5%
TASTING NOTES
Dark ruby red hue. Rich nose of reel fruit and spice. Soft and round on the palate. Lovely finish with elegant melted tannins.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING
Ideal with pheasant with cep mushrooms, veal chops or osso buco. Serve at 14°C.
